I own two of these and cannot begin to explain how impressed I am at the features. At $238 USD at the time of this writing, I connect my three node Proxmox cluster in MLAG (yes it really supports MLAG), with all VLANs, including CEPH, on those two SFP+ links. Running in MLAG requires layer-2 only features to be used and 7.10rc6 or higher (due to a MAC learning bug in prior releases “incorrect host moving between ports with FastPath enabled”). The copper 1G port allows you to power by PoE if you want. They advertise using this for resilient power, but I am not a fan due to some strange power on / power loss scenarios that I was not happy with. If you are a MikroTik noob, you cannot configure without following documentation for the specific switch chip. Trust me, you might think you can figure it out, but you will not. It may sound obvious, but upgrade the firmware to ensure you have a bug free experience.
